Must the vessel have an authorised South African firearm permit on-board the vessel prior entry of an SA port?

The vessel may wait at outer anchorage till such time as the authorised firearm permit has been released and then forwarded either by the responsible company (person) in South Africa or the vessel agent if one has been appointed.

The armed vessel may not enter any SA port without an authorised firearm permit on-board, failure to comply may result in punitive action being taken against the vessel.
